NOTE - THIS ARCHIVE WILL BE UNDERGOING A MASSIVE AND MUCH NEEDED MAKE-OVER SOON! The projects here are very, very out of date and a re-do of the film section of the site is in the works!
| Beauty Sleeping (artwork soon) |
"Once upon a time..." Beauty Sleeping is a modern retelling of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. In this story, the Beauty is the daughter of a wealthy entrepreneur and his wife, cursed as a baby with a death threat by her mother's jealous college friend, a fashion designer named Melissa Fent. The child is hidden away with three of her mother's friends who have all experienced tragedy in their own lives and volunteered to protect the child until the threat passes, however, things go wrong when a media-badboy living two lives (in one being a teenie-bopper icon and in the other being a sensitive hopeless romantic) stumbles across the Beauty in the woods. It is a story about the rebellion young people face when their guardians try to shelter them, the battle of good against evil, and love conquering all... |

To See Through a Darkened Glass |
"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face
to face..."
This is a documentary that is being done in three versions. The first version is an eight minute student film. The second is going to be a slight longer cut, probably between fifteen and thirty minutes. The third is going to be an independent feature that we're looking to get into national recognition. This is probably the most serious project we have to date. The focus of it is two things: 1) To portray Christians in a light they've never been portrayed before- as normal people living a lifestyle rather then a religion, and 2) to show evidence of God as a reality. Its a huge undertaking because we're planning on making this different then any other documentary that's been done about Christianity. If you pray, keep us in your prayers. |

Irene |
"Blessed is she... Irene who seeks my face..." Irene is the story of an eighteen year old Christian girl who gets pregnant and has to live with the consequences of her decisions. Despite all the opposition she faces, she still fights to keep her faith in God and God keeps his hand on her. Its being done as a short film/music video based on the song by TobyMac. We're not making any money off of it, its primary purpose is going to be for ministry and as an encouragement to single mothers. This film is currently in pre-production. |

Every Monday Night or |
A short M.O.S. film about epic battles, fantastic fighting, and cheeze-core wrestling. This is our first "real" film, lol (the first actually done mostly on film anyways). |
|
The Bad Guys don't Wear Black |
A PSA about club/drink-spiking drugs. The main point of it is to just make women aware of the fact that bad guys don't always look like bad guys (this is done in a comic way). There's two different versions of it, three minute version and one minute version. If you'd like to use this for your organization, feel free to send me an email. |

Out of the Darkness/ "Kill the Hero" NOTE: The film is rated PG-13 for depiction of violence and use of strong words (no profanity). |
This is actually two projects, one under One Girl Army films and one under Eyes of Fire. The first is a short film that has (to this point anyways) been called "Kill the Hero". Its only about two minutes long and is about a guy and a girl who get martyred. Its more of a music video than anything with clips from songs like "Yours-The Remix" and "Extreme Days" by TobyMac, "Kill the Hero" from Hero, the Rock Opera, and possibly "Fireproof" by Pillar. It's actually one of my film school projects. "Out of the Darkness" however, is a play/drama for youth that Super and I are working on for Eyes of Fire Productions. It will combine film, drama, and human video to tell the interconnected stories of five individuals (a drug addict/prostitute, a backslidden Christian, a girl wanting to make a difference, an apathetic Christian, and a gang member) and whether or not (and how) they will be brought "Out of the Darkness". This is a project in the making, but it will be awesome when its ready and we'll definitely be touring it. Keep posted and hopefully when we have the resources, we be able to start booking ; ) If you're having any trouble downloading it, you can either right click the link and click "Save as Target", you can wait about two or three minutes to see if the film clicks on (it sometimes takes a while though it seems like it isn't loading), or you can actually type in http://www.eyes-of-fire.com/killtheherosmaller.mov. |

Jael |
This may never actually get made into a film, but its a great story. At this point, I have the screenplay complete for a five minute long short film. If we make it, it'll probably be extended to 10-30 minutes. It's a love story about a young man who finds out the meaning of true love when he meets an outcast girl with more then just a couple hidden quirks. I hate using the word romantic comedy because its not really like most of the films in that genre, but that's essentially what it is. It's a story that will warm your hearts and if anyone out there wants to help up get this made, by all means email me. |
| A Tale of Two Cities: Our Galaxy Far, Far Away | This idea originally started out as a Star Wars fan film Nell and I wrote like our freshmen year. We tried filming it, but never got it done. Well, many years later, for the premiere of Star Wars: Episode II, we began filming a mini-documentary on Star Wars fandom in the southwest. This has turned into a full fledged project combining a short (and absolutely hilarious) fan film starring her, me, and Super, a series of interviews with Star Wars fans from various cities in the southwest, and documentary footage of the premiere of Episode 2 and preparations for the final installment in the Star Wars saga, Episode 3. We're hoping to have it done by Celebration 3 so we can get it in the film festival and fan film awards. |
| "Phantom of the Opera" Cover Music Video | Super thought of the idea for a music video to go with a rock cover version of the main song from "Phantom of the Opera". This is requiring some musical collaboration but I'm hoping that somehow we'll be able to do this. |
| Locker 249 | This was an actual project but I haven't messed with it in a while. It was a script for a short film about school violence (not a documentary- the story is about a girl who crosses a group of people in her school dealing in drugs and has to fight for her life because of it). Its dedicated to all the people who had survived and had to go through the Columbine shootings. The script needs some revision but I think this could actually make a very good short film. |
| Other projects | Well, I'm going to film school so there should be some more things coming up. Super and I have talked about doing a short martial-arts movie and I have lots of ideas for more serious films locked away in my mind. |
