Human Videos

UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION

Human videos are basically music videos acted out on stage. Just as there are many different

types of music videos, there are also many different types of human videos

(discussed in the "How to" section) They are excellent tools for ministry, especially for youth

or other groups that are harder to speak to (or impress, lol).

Many churches use human videos, though most use traditional contemporary

Christian or gospel songs and hand choreography to portray their

message. Some of the most popular ones seem to be "The Champion" and

"The Witch's Invitation" (by Carmen), "Mary Did You Know", etc... The Master's

Commissions programs have come up with some excellent examples

of human videos that range from traditional songs like "Total Praise" to

youth-oriented music like "Suckerpunch" by ska band Five Iron Frenzy

and "Me Against Me" by Project 86 (heavy metal).

Personally, I have found that almost any Christian song can be made

into a human video, even many secular songs can. I have tried to write human

videos a bit different then the average stuff you've seen (though I still work

with the same mold as everyone else). Some are for all audiences but

most are oriented for youth, as in teenagers and college

age students. Just like children require different teaching

methods when learning about the Bible, so do youth. My goal is to help whatever

ministries I can reach out to people who require something different to be

reached. I have been working in drama ministries for six years, acting,

managing, directing, writing... you name it. If I can be of any assistance
