I will be updating the human video listing for accuracy and more human videos
will be written, along with replacing some
of the old ones which have become quite lame. For now, I'll be posting any new
content here and on the main page.
As always, many of these have sound clips you can check and
the links take you to the song lyrics. I do not set up
download capabilities for the human videos for creative protection purposes, but
they are most definitely free if you
just email me and ask... and also give your feedback on how these go! You'd be
shocked how rarely people
report back how things went after they use them.

NEW AND RECOVERED: "Everybody's Fool" by Evanescence
The story of a girl who had glory days in her high school past only to become the very thing she used to make fun of: dark, brooding and without hope. | Average sized cast along with props and set pieces for this one. Outstanding human video though, very thought provoking to go with a good sermon. |
"Dancing with the Devil" Boy on a String by Jars of Clay |
Drugs and how they will 'puppet' your life to its own destruction if you let them. | I can send this one with an optional clip from the movie "8mm" ("You dance with the devil, the devil don't change; the devil changes you"). It's a great anti-drug skit and very serious. |
by Michael W. Smith |
The inner struggle of a backslidden Christian. | This one is good for both adults and youth. |
Rose Colored Stained Glass Windows by Jars of Clay (originally Petra) |
There are many "undesirable" people in the world who need to be helped and reached. Many Christians simply close their doors to them. | This one is very serious and you need a good drama team (and a good front man or woman who can lip synch well) to pull it off. There is an area written into the script where some dance or hand movements would need to be choreographed, but this can be removed if necessary. This is a little touchy, so its best to use with youth, but can be used for adults also. |
by Thousand Foot Krutch |
Salvation story of an introverted girl in a small town. | The song tells the story on this one. If you've heard the song, you should be able to picture the human video pretty easily. You need a good actress as your lead girl ; ) |
by dc Talk |
Christ will bring joy to your life. | Christianity shouldn't be boring and neither is this skit. This one is great fun but you'll need people willing to dance a little bit (its even better if they like ska music). |
by dc Talk |
There's a world beyond what we see where angels and demons battle over us. Despite what problems we face, God is there. | This one requires both dance and a group of individuals who can stage fight (preferably with swords). The finished product is spectacular; this is one of my personal favorite human video ideas. |
by Jennifer Knapp |
A girl in prison looks back on the mistakes she made with her family and friends. | Another anti-drug skit. Alot of these were written for Teens in Prevention, a drug prevention network in our region. Very effective and very touching human video. |
by Five Iron Frenzy |
Humorous; Being a Christian doesn't mean you won't have some bad days. | This one is downright funny. Everything goes wrong to a guy waiting at a bus stop. Your lead needs to be able to lip synch well, the song isn't that fast, but the words are. |
by Evanescence |
Jesus can not only wake you up from the nightmares of a dormant spiritual life, but can also send you into the adventure of being called to help others if you'll only let him save you from the dark. | Do I have the audacity? Yes, I do... Another "E-word" song. Our youth group is doing a video to this one but I moved before I got a chance to see it so this is a different version. NOTE: I am currently working on a new version of this human video that will deal with different issues and should be quite a bit better. |
by Jars of Clay |
Another anti-drug skit. Tells the story of a young man who becomes an alcoholic after leaving a rough home, and a young woman who is taken advantage of by her friends who get her into drugs, and finally by club drugs. In the end, they find God. | This one touches on a very delicate issue- rohypnol and other "drink spiking" drugs. You need some good actors for this one. This went over very well when we performed it, but you need alot of people who can move quickly on and off the stage. |
by Brave Saint Saturn |
Two themes: 1) When you harm or ignore another Christian who is in need, you are also hurting Christ who lives in them. 2) Even the the most scorned of people are worthy of salvation if they repent and give their lives to Jesus. | This one is very... touchy. However it is also very touching. The bridge of the song says it all: "And all have hated... crucified and walked away. Savior of the prostitutes, drunkards, rapists, and the gays." This one should probably only be used on youth and college age; it is very powerful. |
by Five Iron Frenzy |
A modern take of the parable about the man whose debt was forgiven, but couldn't forgive a debt own against him. | This is a bit of a cruel trick for me to play on you all by using this song. It's on the new FiF album ("The End is Near") which is only available online and at their shows until 2004. However, it is their best album yet and you should be able to at least download the song until the CD is available. It makes a really cool "Love of Money" human video. |
by Further Seems Forever |
Two young people find, while reading the stories of Joseph and Esther, just how much their own stories relate. | This one requires some good acting because the song lyrics are mostly metaphorical so the acting has to explain what's going on. An awesome song and a pretty cool human video. |
by dc Talk |
We may be persecuted for being Jesus freaks, but you know what... there's no disguisin' the truth. We don't care. | This one is hard core, probably only for youth and college audiences. I may be rewriting it a bit. The current version touches on the stories of several "Jesus Freaks" (John the Baptist, a kid in high school, a business person, the two missionaries who were captured and rescued in Afghanistan). |
Kill the Hero by Hero: The Rock Opera
A new human video illustrating the events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus, specifically surrounding the characters of Caiaphus (Cai) and Pilate. | This is one we were going to perform but never
got to, but overall its a nice human video that can be adapted a number of
ways.

PRE-2007 HUMAN VIDEOS BY EOF PRODUCTIONS - SMALL/MIME - SCRIPTS BY EMAIL
by Eric Clapton |
A man (or woman) looks back on the life shattering event in his life of the death of his child and how he always wondered how he'd be able to even recognize "His Father's Eyes". | This one, I actually do as a woman. You see four stages of the person's life: when they're wondering about God, when their child is born, when their child is killed, and when they finally recognize their Father's eyes. The relationship is that God had to watch his only son die just like this parent did. |
by Brave Saint Saturn |
Three individuals- a homeless drug addict, an ex-inmate, and a Christian too frightened to reach beyond apathy- reflect that despite their downfalls, their hearts still beat. | I originally tried to write this as a one person mime, but I wasn't really happy with it. The version I currently have is for three people (could be four). |
by Big Daddy Weave |
Relationships; using your talents for God | This whole idea came from one line in the song: "And Lord as the love song of my life is played...". The guitar player doesn't have to do too much, but you do need a girl who can at least appear to be a good dancer. This one goes along well with relationship sermons. |
Fireproof by Pillar |
A Christian faces off against four demons: Confusion, Lust, Addiction, and Rage. | This one is really fun, especially if you have a guy and a girl who can do martial arts or a couple of backyard wrestlers. One person plays all four demons though if you like, you can do it with each demon played by a different person. Its written for a woman to do that part, but both parts can be played by either a guy or gal. |
NON-EOF HUMAN VIDEOS I HAVE SCRIPTS AVAILABLE FOR
by Five Iron Frenzy (Originally done by Master's Commission) |
God loves the nerds, geeks, rejects, and underdogs just as much as the popular kids. | This one is so much fun, though it requires a tiny bit of choreography. You need a couple of guys willing to make total dorks out of themselves, but if its done correctly this human video is absolutely hilarious. |
by Bon Jovi |
Rebellion won't get you very far. It may be your life but God's the one who created you; He knows better then we do. | Yes... Bon Jovi. We actually had a live band perform the song and used some variations in the lyrics, but that was just for the way we did the skit. It actually makes a great human video just the way it is. We now have our own version as part of "Voices from a Dead Past". |
HUMAN VIDEOS CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT BY EOF PRODUCTIONS
by Evanescence |
The basic theme is there are people out in the world who are living lives wrought with anguish, suffering, and bondage. Some realize this is the case and others don't, jumping from thing to thing for escape. The truth is, one witness, one ambassador of Christ and of light, and hope, and truth may be the thing that brings them back to life in a world where all is as dead. | This is going to be a neat one. We have two ideas in production for it: one as a short film and one as a human video. Being I get so many requests for this song, I've been working on the human video first and am about halfway through the script. Expect this one available by the end of October. |
by Evanescence (Note: the sample is from a different version of the song then that on their CD. I thinks its a demo and I personally like this version better though the human video itself is written to the "Fallen" CD version which most people have or can get.) |
There are many things and reasons and torments within this world that can drive a person to want to end their life, and the enemy has many ways of making this enticing... however, the only suicide that truly grants freedom is suicide of the heart: dieing unto ourselves and finding new life in Christ. | I can tell you right now this is going to be a dark, dark human video. It touches very strongly on images and the demonic tantalizations involved with suicide. However, I have been asked for this human video so many times, I finally just sat in my car and listened to the song until I found a plausible way to use this in a human video (the old version was adapted into an upcoming hv rock opera). A script should be coming soon. |
Locked in a Cage by Skillet |
We try so often to find God in all the wrong places, only to find we're slapping chains and shackles on ourselves instead of experiencing true freedom through Christ. | This one is Super's baby. It requires some prop searching or an object lesson to indicate what each of the chains represent (false humility, doctrine, ritual, religion, guilt, etc.). It's excellent for illustrating the difference between "religion" (in the sense of man-made things that take the place of God) and a faith-based relationship with Christ. This is also a fairly dark HV and will have a separate music track available because of some of the necessary sound-effects needed. |
In the Light by Storyside:B (original by dc Talk; I personally like this version for this particular human video) |
A young man's struggle between his faith and his sexual purity. | Should be a good one, though is going to require some good set and lighting work. |
The Champion by Carmen |
Oldie but a goodie... the death and battle between Jesus and Satan illustrated in a wrestling ring! | Super had a fantastic idea for a rendition of this... unfortunately, we never got a shot to do it. Still, we would at least like to get it on paper for future reference. |
It's Killing Me by dc Talk |
The sad story of Judas and his relationship with the one he betrayed, Jesus of Nazareth. | I had another version of this human video written out, but ended up adapting it as part of an upcoming human video rock opera project. Super actual wrote this one awhile back but it needs to be put into script form. |
HUMAN VIDEO PROJECTS THAT HAVE BEEN CONVERTED TO OTHER THINGS or ROCK OPERAS
Voices from a Dead Past A cross-media HV rock opera by Jett Farrell and Superman Vega Featured: |
This was a fairly unique project. It was a sort of human video/film rock opera we did for our campus ministry. It starred only me and Super playing (at different intervals) different personal components of the same individual (usually flesh and spirit). Though we have only gotten to perform it once, the time we did our audience was literally in tears at the end, and we would love to perform it again in a better stage setting some-time. | Currently, we've left this one alone until we can re-shoot the video scenes. It just needs alot more production work and some re-rehearsal before we do it again. |
Out of the Darkness A cross-media HV rock opera by Jett Farrell Featured:
This one is still in the writing stage, but its going to be a full length play/cross-media human video rock-opera, almost like a larger scale version of Voices from a Dead Past. It chronicles the interwoven stories of five individuals: a heroin-addict turned prostitute, a former agnostic struggling with her newfound faith, a young man who loses his faith, an apathetic Christian dealing with a pornography addiction, and a gang member who has never heard of or seen an example of Christ. Portraying both the deepest of lows and the highest form of sacrifice, the story shows how each of these individuals is brought out of the darkness. | Still in the writing phase. Not all the songs mentioned are used as human videos or in full length; some are for film scenes. |
My Immortal by Evanescence |
A symbolic look into the consequences of losing sexual purity... and how only perfect love heals those wounds. | I really tried to come up with a human video for this one, but thus far I am totally at a loss. Instead, I came up with a great short film that is currently in the writing/storyboarding stage. |
I Promise You by Spoken |
Life may seem hopeless, yet in your darkest hour you may be reminded just how close God really is... and that good people really do still exist and serve Him. | Again, an attempt at a human video that has morphed fully into a film project about a Christian girl who is living a hopeless life as a bartender and courting the secular dating scene... However, when the world tries to take her down for good, she's reminded that God is more than just a cross on a silver chain, but a supernatural provider and protector. Writing stage. |
Numb by Linkin Park |
Very avante' garde film version about how conforming to the world makes you nothing but numb... not entirely unlike a human being transformed into a machine. | This one will be a bit strange but very cool. It'll involve some visual effects but I think the end product will be very very neat with a clear message. |
Don't turn Away by Evanescence
There are some people crying out for help, that if the church ignores... will never find their way back. | This is a half human video/half film project, however the human video part is slowly... um... evaporating as the film gets more and more elaborate. More info coming soon. |
OLD HUMAN VIDEO IDEAS THAT WERE NEVER MADE INTO SCRIPTS BY US (BUT WE MAY HAVE SEEN)
by Audio Adrenaline |
Do you know where you're gonna go? | The song sounds absurd to most people but it makes a great point in a humorous way. Great for youth groups, I suppose you could even use it on children in some cases. |
by The Insyderz |
A hard core (in the music sense) retelling of the crucifixion. | This one makes a great Easter skit for a youth group. The way I've written it, it is a bit violent and very serious but you can tone it down a bit if you think you need to. You need a really good actor to do Jesus in this one. |
When in Doubt by Thousand Foot Krutch |
No matter how abandoned you've felt, God will be there when you're in doubt. | This one is fast, loud, and fun. You need a teenager who can lip synch well. Also, if you have kids in your group who can "skank" (dance to ska music) that goes great with this one. |
Puppet by Thousand Foot Krutch |
The devil controls ("puppets") many people with many vices; It's time for us to cut off those strings and break free. | This one is mostly dance. I'm not even sure how to write a script for this one because it is almost all dance except for the bridge where we get to see Jesus and the devil fight (I think we all know who wins that match). |
So Long, My Friend by dc Talk |
A group of teens say goodbye to their friend who forgets them after becoming a famous pop star. | This one is kind of funny, but it requires a bit of choreography. I actually haven't completely written it yet but the lyrics help lay the premise. |
by Project 86 |
Don't become your own worst enemy. | When I saw it, this one pertained to alcohol. Its only two people and alot of choreographed movement (not dance- more like beatings). Very hard core, but very good. |
Keep Waiting by Stavesacre |
Things may seem bad, but if we trust in Him, God is always right on time | I've seen two Master's Commission groups do this one. It relatively simple though there are some things you can do for variation. |
Quasimodo by Lifehouse |
Its time for us to let go of the chains holding us. | Our youth drama team did this one and it was outstanding. I don't really have a script for it, but I can provide an outline. I love the song and I loved the human video. |
The Devil is Bad by The W's |
The devil is bad... | This has to be one of the coolest songs ever written in Christian music. Swing!... It's mostly dancing, but goodness gracious it is a fun song. Better for kids, a little too cheesy for anyone older. |
Will You be There? by Skillet |
A prayer asking the very question the title states | This one is still in the drawing board stages. I've loved the song since I heard it and I have a few ideas but nothing is completely clear yet. We'll see how this one turns out. |
