"The Sleeping Beauty"; Azalea Walton is the daughter of wealthy entrepreneur Rey Walton and his wife Jewel. After a threat on her life is made at her baby shower, Azalea is hidden away by her mother and three women who pose as her aunts to be kept safe for seventeen years until the 'curse' passes. However, when she meets a strange young man in the forest, her sheltered life and naive imagination backfire sending her straight into the path of danger.

A fashion designer living already in lavish comfort, she came into fortune after several unusual victories in divorce cases. However, Melissa has never been able to rid herself of the jealousy of her old college mate, Jewel Walton, who was in a sorority also known as the faeries with her. When Jewel has a child and throws a celebration for all the old sorority girls and Melissa is not invited, she takes it upon herself to place a 'curse' on the child saying that by her seventeenth birthday, she will prick her finger and die.

"The Queen"; Jewel Walton is the wife of famous entrepreneur and philanthropist Rey Walton. Despite being accustomed to wealth and media, she never lost her kind heart and the ability to be a generous host, however, Jewel's heart is wrenched for many years because she is unable to have a child. One joyous day, though, she experiences the joy of a miracle and gives birth to a baby girl whom she names Azalea. To celebrate, Jewel invites her dearest friends from college, sorority sisters from a group called the FRS aka the Faeries, to a banquet. In the planning of the party, though, one sister is forgotten: Melissa Fent. Melissa has always hated Jewel and decides to take out her vengeance by placing a threat on Azalea's life... one that leaves Jewel having to make the ultimate choice: sacrifice her daughter's life or live without her for seventeen years.

"The Three Faeries"; Tania is one of Jewel Walton's friends from the women's college group, FRS. During those years, Tania's husband and daughter were killed in an accident, leaving her crushed and alone. In her time of need, Jewel showed compassion and acted as family to Tania, helping her to get back on her feet and live her life. Because of that, instead of becoming a weakened shell, Tania used strength as her escape and acts as a leader amongst her two other closest friends from the FRS, Melia and Naida, women who had also experienced tragedy. When a threat is made against Jewel's child, the three women step up to the plate and dedicate themselves to protecting Azalea until the curse is passed.

"The Three Faeries"; Melia is another friend of Jewel Walton's and the gentlest of the three women who dedicate themselves to protecting Jewel's child. Like Jewel, Melia had long wished for a child, but due to medical conditions could never have one. Jewel, Tania, and Naida of the FRS acted as friends and family to Melia. She treats Azalea as her own child, watching her with a gentle care that her two adopted sisters sometimes miss out on in trying to protect the child.

"The Three Faeries"; Last of the three adopted sisters who promise to protect Azalea is Naida, the youngest and most fiery. Naida's connection with Jewel is also one of a friend's support in times of crisis. After many years of being involved in a serious relationship, Naida was betrayed by the man she loved and scarred deeply. No attempt at a romance since has worked out due to her skeptical view of people. Not wanting what happened to her to ever happen to Azalea, Naida puts her focus and effort into protecting Jewel's child from people who may try to take advantage of her or do her harm. This occasionally backfires as Naida can at times be a bit overbearing and find it difficult to try anyone beyond her adopted sisters, Melia and Tania.

James Ryan - Nick

Nick is Orion's best and only real friend. He is the only one Orion feels anywhere near comfortable enough to share his secret side with and the only one who really knows the man behind the media image... He does his best to be a good friend, but gets caught up in Orion's spotlight every once in a while and has trouble understanding why his friend doesn't enjoy the high life that has been rained down upon him.

Adam Bates - Rey Walton

"The King"; Rey Walton is one of the most famous businessmen and philanthropists in the world. Beyond being head of the Walton Enterprises company, he also is known for giving generously to children's funds and charities... He watches his wife sadly, however, for the many years they cannot have a child. There is great rejoicing in the company and Rey's heart when his daughter is finally born, but being forced to live without her for so many years has left him fragile and unsure how to properly parent.
